The Team

Managing the entire project is PAUL FREE the sole Director of Motologic. Paul is no stranger to motorsport, being an ex-Superbike Racer himself. Paul’s first road race outing was way back in 1991 on a simple little 250 production bike, and what followed was a career in Motorsport which he couldn’t have dreamed of.

Paul fast moved up through the classes in Australia gaining recognition and in the latter years competed on a Superbike for one of the major distributor teams, before he headed overseas for a short period which is where he finished his riding career in 2000.

Honda first employed Paul in 2002 to re-establish their factory Superbike team. In 2004 and 2005, Paul lead the team to 2 Supersport and Superbike Championships and 2 Manufacturer’s Cups in a row.

In 2007, Paul created Motologic Pty Ltd and carried out both general and specialized work on all makes and models of motorcycle, both on-road and Off-road, Motologic also became the race team headquarters.

In 2008 Paul took his race team to another Superbike Championship title. With many podium finishes in between, Team Honda Racing won the 2014 Australasian Superbike Championship and took all 3 podium positions in one of their most successful seasons to date.

2015 was just as successful, with Troy Herfoss winning his first Australian Superbike championship and the team’s 2nd in a row. 2016 was another huge success with Herfoss taking his 2nd Australian Superbike Championship and the team’s 3rd in a row.
